The Grace Choir
Grace Choir helps lead congregational hymns and service music, primarily from the Hymnal 1982, and sings anthems drawn from liturgical context with emphasis on biblical texts. This volunteer core (you can join by contacting Choirmaster David Blakley) also uses a Choral Scholars program to employ music students from area universities (especially adjacent Ball State) as referred by their instructors. Our skilled organist accompanies on Grace’s lovely tracker action organ as well as provides preludes and postludes from the classical canon; other instrumentalists frequently perform as well.
In addition, Grace has a history of concerts by staff, choir, and outside guests on the First Thursday Art Walk Series.
